The 5kTQ Toaster?

A friend was helping me work on the TQ last night (meaning he held stuff while
I bolted/soldered/clamped 'em in place.) I had the thing in a million pieces,
the whole front end was scattered about my garage floor with some parts inside
the house, and I was doing numerous things in the engine compartment so I had
the intercooler hanging down, wires dangling all over the place, engine parts
sitting on the roof, etc. He was looking at the mess of wires & hoses that
make up the engine compartment of the TQ, and said "It's amazing that if
something happens to this thing, chances are you can trace it out of all that
crap & get the car to run again." I shrugged. Then he said "You know, if this
was a toaster, if all that worked to produce toast, you wouldn't have a clue
what to do with it if it broke would you?" He's probably right...
