I agree with you, Daryl, but Zeke over at the filling station seems to think
the car has a something to do with it as well. Of course, the only "racing"
he ever does is the Demolition Derby at the State Fair each year and he IS a
mechanic so he's probably biased anyway.

A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do ... a real friend would've understood
that so don't feel too bad.

Well, I don't know if it's from Iowa but he DOES have a gimp leg. He won't
wear shorts no matter what the weather ... and now that I think about it, I
met him when he brought his dog into the shop for a bit of touch-up work so
maybe it IS him. Did your friend have a wife named Maybelleen and a '65 IH
Scout that needs paint REAL bad?

Ha! That Bob sounds so smart, he probably thinks HE got the best deal ...
there was some guy from a university in town a while back trying to figure
out why almost everyone in town has blue skin ... a real strange fellow as
best I can recall. Said something about being an anthrowpollogist...
Oh, well. Thanks for your support. I've gotta run over to the next county
to take a look a parts car ... seems there's some Audi station wagon that a
guy tried to turn into a snowplow on account of the AWD and all. I hear it
didn't work out too well and that he might be interested in selling some of
the parts off it.
