Hi,

Your car may have lost the cap to the CO test tube. During an emissions test,
the guy will put a sniffer down the CO tube to measure the CO in your exhaust.
There's supposed to be a cap on it to prevent exhaust from coming out. If
exhaust were to come out, it could easily get sucked into the ventilation
system. Did you have an emissions test recently? I guess the engine could
have popped it off. Is there a big black blast mark looking thing on the
underside of your hood?
