thanks for the CV joint removal advice

To all that answered my plea (and there were many) for help removing the 
right-side drivshaft for outer CV boot replacement - thanks a lot!!!

I tackled it before I had a chance to read the replies, and I basically
did as suggested, i.e. detached the strut by removing the ball joint and
right-side stabilizer bar. I can't see another way to do it without doing 
as the manual suggested -  removing the front muffler piece.  There was 
NO way I was going to do that, even if I could.  Didn't need a puller to 
press out the driveshaft; it came out easily.
