This is completely in line with the description of how the Quattro was first
built. Use existing parts, existing procedures, etc. When you do something
well, why change the process?

BTW - thanks to the list, the persistent efforts of my wife, the behind
the scenes work by Steve B., I now am the proud owner of some great Audi
books. :)
