I was told that Audi ran out of the older radios. Since they weren't
planning on ordering any more, they just installed the newer version.

Yup... nada, zippo... does not exist...

Our S6 does, although the only place they refer to it is in the manual.
It really pretty cool to try to spin the tires on a wet, grated bridge
deck only to get the most outrageous launch. It really surprises those
others around you.
I did get a bit of wheel spin last evening. I was coming up an on ramp
which had a bad viewing angle to the left and rear (Battery St. tunnel
for Seattle folks). Due to motorcycle riding habits, I always look twice
and noticed a d**f truck barreling down on me.
The car was in second with about 3500 on the tach. I nailed it and I
felt the steering go slightly light. I could hear the wheels slip a
bit, but was never out of control in any way. The d**f truck was just
a set of headlight disappearing in my mirrors.
