Eric,

	I ran Pennzoil synthetic last summer, then changed to Mobil one 
this fall.  The engine seemed to run just a little smoother, but the 
ticking is still there.  In all fairness, the ticking may have something 
to do with the bbroken exhaust stud, but from listening to the engine up 
close, I am pretty sure that the valve lifters are still ticking a little.
