You know.. this also crossed my mind several times... I wanted to go a 
step farther.. I wanted to decode the signal to the radio to see how it 
displays the matrix, and literally create my own gauges. real time 
compass, etc... Havent started this yet, but I plan to...

can someone give me (us) a head start...if they decoded it?
