I doubt they ever will.  The adjustable height is so you can prevent
blinding other drivers when you have a big load, tow a trailer, put on a
spare, etc...  They only lower, don't raise the beam.  

And Jeremy, you now know why the euro lights are so coveted.  Imagine that
beam with 100 watts through it.
