Hi.

I'm Dan, the new guy. :-)

I'm about to purchase an A4Q, having fallen deeply and completely
in love with the car.

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with dealerships in
Central NJ; specifically, Paul Miller Audi, Bernardsville
Audi, and Flemington Audi (and any others, good or bad).

Also, anyone know what kind of a deal is considered "good"?
I've got a price of about 6% over invoice.

Thanks for any help...

Hi Dan,

Just to let you know my experiences with the two dealerships...

Bernardsville used to be a fair place to buy a car, although now it's owned
by one of the ex-salesman (not 100% sure) or partners from Paul Miller, and
had to be shut down by the State (NJ) for some time. Various rumours or facts
have been mentioned. But my experiences with the current people have been
quite good.

Spencer Sherman (now current Bernardsville used car manager) offered me a
good deal on a used 1990 Audi V8, and he was honest about the damage to the
car, which was not visible to my eye...
Talk to Jeffrey Capone (with Bernardsville now, and was also with the prior
Bernardsville management)...I almost bought a Coupe Quattro from him, and he
is a decent person.

As far a Paul Miller is concerned, I have only dealt with Michael Eichvalds
of Paul Miller, the used car manager, and he is a great guy as well. Sorry I
can't let you know about their new car salespeople, but I would be wary...

Most of the other listers will be able to help you out on A4 prices...feel
free to contact me directly if you have other questions...

Take care,
