Re: 96 A4Q Purchase Information Req.
I just purchased my A4Q and believe I got as fair a deal as far as price is
concerned. I went through the auto by tel service. Although I had to go to
Sacramento, a good two hours away, it made for a nice return trip home! The
auto by tel service gave me a price close to a couple thousand less than local
bay area dealers right off the bat. No hagglin for it. Even if the Bay Area
dealers were willing to give me the same price I didn't have to haggle for it.
Anyway, it seemed to work for me. Make sure you also do your dealer invoice
homework. Edmunds has dealer prices, there are many magazines out there also
that have dealer prices. So that's my story... I was able to get the exact car
I wanted color and all, through AUTO BY TEL!!!
As for your trade in... I dunno...
Good Luck, lemme know how it goes!!!

Subject: 96 A4Q Purchase Information Req.
Any observations/comments to share on the 96A4Q. I am considering trading
my 87 5KCSTQ.
What should I expect to pay for the A4Q ?
How much should I expect for a trade on the 87 5KCSTQ.
Also,
What advise could I get on how to negotiate a purchase price "then" go for
a lease and know the math works out. Any referals would be apprecated.
