91 200'isms
My '91 200TQW (or would that be TQA for Avant):
most definitely does not stall out with my foot off the gas
also hisses at idle, right side somewhere
hits 1.7 bar on a daily basis @ 2000 ft altitude; 1.8 bar nearer to sea level
has a top end @ 140+ mph BTDT(momentarily limited to 130: tires)
is mostly stock -- a few electrical changes
leaks oil from the tranny, but the level stays okay (bad gasket/seal)
burns/uses not a drop of oil between changes (Mobil 1, weight re: owners manual)
shimmies its UFO brakes, but not excessively; and not through the steering wheel
had a bad factory antenna: AM non-existent, FM bad; it's better now
has lots of ugly stone chips on the plastic under the bumper (and on hood), but
will never wear a bra
regularly runs away from 5 series beemers and big Mercs on the Autobahn
has a complete set of working lights (seat heaters and memory buttons, too) --
thanks Eric
is the only car I know of that can haul a fridge at 95+ mph with style
I can't think of any other "normal" behavior
