Believe it or not, I've had really good experience with Turtle
Wax's "Clear Guard". For what it's worth.

I love Zymol waxes... I've found them to be not quite as durable as
others, but they are *such* a joy to apply, it just doesn't matter.
The HD Cleanse stuff, on the other hand... well, I think Zymol
recommends that you use the cleanse once every 6 months or so. My
experience says that you'll use it exactly once, and your arms and
shoulders may start to recover a few years down the road!

Someone mentioned that using synth fluid causes wear of the synchros.
I've heard this, too... the claim was that synchros rely on viscous
coupling to get them up to speed, and with a thinner lubricant, they
tend to not spin up as readily. Anyone know any more about this?

Has nothing to do with atomic structure (at least not in Mobil 1's
case). Has to do with the fact that there are much fewer impurities
in the oil (e.g. no wax).
