What do you mean that "it has 70k miles and
is getting weak"?  Is the power decreasing,
or has it always been weak?

If it is decresing, you either need a tune-up or a repair.
70,000 miles is absolutely nothing - i've run VW and Audi
engines 200,000 miles -- and they were still good, one
ran 100k+ witha turbo before a deer shortened its life.

I'd look for a clogged filter, poor adjustment, or possible
damage.  I presume you have not abused or neglected it.
