Why do you say it won't work?
The 2.3 block IS the best starting place. If you are saying the EV rods
won't fit - you are correct. However you can use the 2.3 rods just fine.
What do you think Eurospec did with the 2.3 20v in the current issue of
European Car? Yes the block might need a little clearencing for the big end
of the rods this isn't a big deal, needs to be done with the Oettinger (big
$$$$) 94.5mm crank too. If you say the pistons wont fit, stock ones won't,
there are pistons available that will work.
