I really did'nt notice until the other day. My old 1980 Rabbit's 
automatic handle is identical to my 84 Audi 5000S's! HEH!
 
I jumped into the Audi, and as I was about to drive away, I really 
noticed how in SOME way, the Audi felt like my Rabbit! HEHE! No wonder! 
My hand is on the same hunk of plastic. (Just different colors)
 
Dunno. Just thought it was worth mentioning. :)
