Yikes!  I don't know how you could live with the brake hitting the floor in
any situation.  I had that problem when my pressure regulator went bad on my
4KcsQ.  The only thing stopping my car was the vacuum pump driven by the cam
shaft.

I'm not sure, but I assume that you've a hydraulic clutch, and either your
fluid level dropped and you got some air in the system, or your master
cylider, either the clutch or the brake has a leak.  Try pumping the brake
pedal to see if it firms up a bit.  If it does, it's more than likely there
is some air in you system.

I'd get it looked at quick, because if your pedal is going to the floor in
any situation, you could lose your brakes when you need them most.
