Typical Audi...

I leave for Colorado today at 3:45.  This morning I get a call from my sister
at her townehouse "Mike, my car won't start, call Ann & tell her you're not
going to Colorado 'cuz you've got to fix my Raudi!"  After I hung up on her &
she called me back, we agreed she'd let her 80 sit for the week & she'd come
down to Virginia & pick up my TQ & beat on it while I'm in CO.  Of course the
car had to wait 'till I'm leaving this side of the country for a week to break
down...  Anyhow, from what she described, her alternator gave up the ghost (on
her way home last night, every idiot light on the dash came on, then this
morning nothing.)  Granted, this isn't very scientific, but it sounds
alternator-ish to me...  Anyhow, what's the chance of her frying something by
jumping the car & limping it to my folks house (covered garage don't ya know)
so I can deal with it when I get back?  The airbag won't deploy 'cuz it's got
too little juice will it?  It doesn't have ABS, so that's no big deal.  TIA for
any info guys, talk to everyone next Tuesday!
