i just installed a sony es-something CD/receiver (surprise!) on my v8
with the bose. took them 2 hours total for the job, but pretty good
results. the bass is funny (too much mid bass, too little low low
stuff) now, but i never expected audiophile quality from bose anyway.
so i'm a little puzzled by your comment about rewiring... ????
