Wastegate Springs

I dug up some info on the Charlie Spring from the archives and I have a
question. 

How does this compare to the spring I got from IA with my Stage-I chip mod?
Could I further "upgrade" to a Charlie Spring or will that upset some
built-in balance that Ned has come up with?  What if I decide to go further
with IA mods?  Ned are you out there?
