  I have a well defined/slight shimmy at say 78 MPH in my TQC that
disappears at speeds +_2mph above that and below that.  Most cars I have
owned have had this trait at various speeds in a small window.  I think it
is tire related and live with it as the window is small and easily avoided.
 With a new expensive car I would be a little bent as well.  Just gather up
the service MGr when symptoms are likely to occur, even if that means
leaving the car there overnight in anticipation of the climactic conditions
that seem to cause the phenomena.
