HELP!!!!
Hello all,
Sorry to trouble you all again but by electrical problems
This again is on my ever loved '84 5KSQ
have had a new addition no tach/seatbelt light/gas gauge/
OXS light/Battery light/Parking Brake light. Checked all fuses
and found a burnt trace but fixed it and still nothing,
I had a ground the ground wire from the block to the coil
mounting fall off, could this have fried something major,
if so what should I replace, Once i get the regular lights
to come on at ignition the alternator will work, or so I
have been told by several people. Should I replace the
inst. cluster w/one I know is good to check?
PLEASE, I am really going nuts over this and I think
I'm going to have a nervouse breakdown. I haven't been
able to sleep right ever since this whole thing has started.
What else am I missing, a relay maybe?
Anyone else ever have similar problems?
Oh, by the way, the ground strap fell off while driving it and
I didn't realize it until it wouldn't start later. Could this
have really messed up something bad??? The car was missing
but I think this was do to low voltage because of no
alternator charging.
Thank you ever so much fro any replies,
Rich Andrews
