A fond farewell

Well, after 6 years I am finally leaving school for good. I want to thank
everyone for being a great group, and an invaluable resource over the past
years. I have been on the quattro list for approximately 5 years (minus
summers), and will miss the comraderie and enthusiasm it affords (as well
as some of the funnier moments, when I was ROTFL). Hopefully I will
return to list membership after I have settled into my new job,
although that will not likely be for at least several months.

This time across the stage I will earn an MS degree in electrical
engineering. It appears as if I will be moving to Austin, TX to work for
IBM as a circuit/logic designer on their POWER processors for the RS/6000
series machines. (BTW, if there are any listers in Austin, I would like
to correspond with you about the area...please email.)

The up side to all of this turmoil is that I should now have the money
to make real gut-wrenching sacrifices to my Coupe (and it knows it, too,
based on the number of problems that have surfaced in the past three
weeks!).

And to our great listmeister, Mr. Simoes, good luck with your 4K quattro.
I'd go for the 130hp engine, if you can swing it.

Thanks again, group. You have all been great, and I hope that some day
(dare I say it?!?), "I'll be baaaaaack!" :)

Eric
