Sounds like my favorite Unka is having the same week I am. So far, I got
two speeding tickets this week. Both on my way to work in the morning. :(
First one... 66 mph in a 55 zone. Bite me. Fine, thats the law, I
deserved it... second one...81 in a 55 zone. Blow me. They were sneaky
bastards, Im going along in my 20V and there is a cop about 15 cars in
front of me, and one right behind me. I look down, my cruise is set to
65. Suddenly they BOTH put on their lights at the same time and pulled
over everyone in between them. Show time.
He asks..."You know how fast you were going?" I said "Yup". He's still
looking at me, like Im going to argue with him... You know you cant argue
with them, you have to have intelligence and a penis to hold a
conversation, and they have neither...
So he walks away... 7 hours later (or so it seems) he comes back with a
ticket. He said "I clocked you doing 81 mph in a 55 zone, the fine is
$279, you can pay by mail" He looks at me waiting for me to say
something.. so I said "Great!! Thanks!" And left. I think that torqued
him off more.
Why didnt I argue? My wife works for the State Police, they are both
already 'taken care of' :)
If anyone on the list is a cop...oh forget it...Im not going to apologize!
