Yep, about half a mile before the MD450 exit on the inner loop, to be precise.
but, since the smokie didn't have his party-lights hemorrhaging, and since
he was subject to the same speed limit without them as I, and finally, since 
I'd been following him for about 10 miles, he'd have been in a pretty awkward
position if he wanted to take it to court.  The "equal treatment under the law" 
bit in the Constitution would force the judge to treat him equally.

"Course, it could have been just luck...
