More Hall Sender results...

ok....

Did more checking on the Hall Sender....

1) put the test light on terminals 1 & 2 like the book say's
    cranked it over no light....

2) connect 1 & 3 to multimeter,  Value should be 4.5 to 5.5 volts

	I get 5.0

3) connect 2 & 3 to multimeter, Value should be 4.3 to 5.2 volts

	I get 4.8

Book say's......

"If voltages are obtained but test light does not flash"
	
	Replace right distributor

Clair Audi say's $340.-  minus Audi Internet Discount of 20 percent
gives me $ 272.-  ouch.

Anybody got a V8 right distributor they want to sell cheap ?

Next project.... how do you replace the right distributor ?

P.S. I've left the air filter cover off now for a couple of day's and I am just 
         driving around with the filter taped to the lower tunnel thing that
feeds
         into the manifold.  I'm sick of taking it off every night.......
         When you hit 3500rpm it sounds like it's capable of
         sucking small animals in there :-)  Cool....
