Fuel system problems in CA?

Steve,

I had those hoses rot out on my car about four years ago.
I guess maybe ozone is a more important issue, espeically
for that "fine" german rubber, hack, cough, gag.  I have
replaced as much of the little rubber tubes as I could
get my hands on.  The get rock hard near the EM, and 
crack at most inconvenient times!  The stuff become
crystalline given long enough time, no flex at all!
