RE: New to Quattroness

Welcome to Coupe Quattro ownership! I hope you enjoy yours as much as I
do mine. What build date is your CQ? If you have a post-March 1990 build
date, your CQ has a rear anti-sway bar and a larger front anti-sway bar.
Pre-March 1990 build date CQs have a smaller front anti-sway bar and no
rear anti-sway bar (but get the way cool tubular stainless steel
header). If you have an early CQ you might add the later setup. I am not
aware of any aftermarket stuff to help. One area you might look into is
changing your spring/shock setup, going with something like Koni Gas and
H & R springs. This would increase the roll stiffness, and reduce the
tendency for pitch excursions (dive/squat). I would be fairly careful to
not disturb the balance, i.e. don't just add a rear bar without
increasing the front roll stiffness, so as to not mess up the at the
limit (under/over steering) handling. I am told that a 16" or 17"
wheel/tire combo will also do a lot to increase turn-in crispness.
