85-87 5000S/5000CS

Hi, folks. I'm new to this list, so if I do something stupid, just thwack 
me upside the head with the nearest stick, and I won't do it again.

I've been looking into purchasing an Audi 5000. I've read all the 
information I can find about these cars, and I like what I see. I 
understand that they are somewhat maintenence-intensive, but any car in 
my price range (sub-$2500) is likely to require more than a little  work, so 
I'm not too terribly worried about that.

My problem is fairly simple. I can't seem to find any good solid specs on 
these cars. I've found engine specs, but that's about it. I need to know 
the difference between a 5000S and a 5000CS, for instance. The sparse 
literature I've read would lead me to beleive that an '86 CS is a turbo, 
since there's absolutely no mention of a non-turbo CS, but the CS I 
looked at the other day didn't have anything obviously extra under the 
hood compared to the three 5000S engines I'd looked at that day. 

I'm starting to ramble. To get to the point, I'm confused about mid-80s Audi 
5000's, and if anybody has any useful infomation they'd share 
with me (like a nice, complete set of specifications), I'm be less 
confused and more happy, and thus be less likely to lose my mind and blow 
up some important national monument, to the detriment of us all.
