Re: Having a ball with a joint....

Guys,

I have removed the ball joints from the control arms a few times
on a couple different cars, and every timme, they just fell out with a
very little persuasion with a big hammer on the control arm. I ONCE
pulled the control arm out of the subframe - NEVER AGAIN! It was H***
getting it back in. BTW, the subframe is very easy to remove. It never
takes me more than a half hour or so.

I Installed the transmission last night on my neighbour's 5KCSTQ.
It was difficult because the transmission is heavy and there isn't much
room, but otherwise, went fairly easily. Now I have to install the rest
of the upgraded suspension, and reattach everything to the transmission,
adn take it for a drive. But, that will have to wait until next week -
I'm racing this weekend. :-)
