RE: A couple of minor A4Q things...
Dan-
For #1, it seems to be right, unless both of uor cars have some problem.
#2,3,4 - never had the problem. Especially the tires...they came from the
facotry at 36 or 38...WAY to soft for me. I set em to 45...stiff, but not
harsh. I want 50s or 45 series next time, though.
#5...Yes, this is THE most bizzare radio in the world. I adjust the volume up
two to four notches and nothing happens. then I jiggle the knob and am
deafened. /Then, I turn it down and it gets louder. And that GALA thing is a
scam. It doesn't increase the volume until you touch the knob, then it get
too loud.

Subject: A couple of minor A4Q things...
Had the A4 for almost 3 weeks now, and I've noticed the
following:
1. Voltmeter runs pretty steadily at what appears to be
14.5 or so. Definitely above 14. Is that about right?
(Already lost a lowbeam, which I just attributed to
infant mortality combined with harsh ride... see #4)
2. There's a bit of a clunking up front when I'm driving
on rough stuff. I seem to recall someone else mentioning
this; did it have to do with shock tower bolts not being
tightened to spec?
3. The auto-up power window feature is nice, but the
jam-sensing mechanism seems a bit oversensitive; probably
one out of four tries, the window will go all the way up,
then back down as if something had gotten stuck in the
window. Anyone else have this problem?
4. The ride was extremely harsh when I picked up the car.
Took me almost a week to get myself to check the tire
pressure (I had lost my gauge...). 51psi, cold. Ouch.
5. Anyone noticed that once in a while, when you try to turn
the Delta radio volume down just a notch, the volume actually
*increases* a notch?
