RE: Replacement shocks for 4KQ
Sachs and Boge are one and the same. About 3 or 4 yeras ago, the Sachs
label offered a sport-kit for the 4kcsq, including shocks & springs, but no
more. the kits were the same as sold in Europe, and designed for the cars
over there (lighter cars, different road & driving conditions). I spoke w/
a tech at Boge a couple weeks ago: he said they had about a 30%
return/failure rate on those kits, so they don't import them here anymore.
so far that i've seen, boge & koni are the only *quality* brands with actual
fitments for the rears of the quattros. most of the other vendors have only
front inserts.
