The no brainer approach is to measure the diameter of your 4kq front bar,
and make sure you get a 4k front bar with a SMALLER diameter for use in the
rear. I never had a rear bar on my 85 4kq, but dry fit all the parts to
make it work. The link rod bar seemed the best and easiest to fit when I
dry fit it. BTW, my '82 ur-quattro has a very small diameter rear bar.
The best approach if you have to have a rear anti-sway bar is decide what
you are trying to remedy (understeer or oversteer, probably the former) and
install accordingly. If you want a loose (tail happy) car, go with a bigger
dia. rear bar. Anyway, installing either setup is easy. Getting a well
balanced suspension is not! Good luck.
