I run rot-gut 89 octane "Regular" in my A4q (5-spd).  I purchase it anywhere
but Exxon, but always from well-known suppliers (usually Crown Petroleum).

As an example of the mileage I'm seeing in mixed driving, I put 14.3 gallons
in last night after traveling 344 miles since last filling up.  I figger
that to be somewhere in the neighborhood of 24 mpg.  That's about what I've
been averaging.  Funny - that's only about 1 mpg less than my Miata averages.
