84 4000Q. Second gear syncro was pretty much gone when I bought the car around 110,000 miles due to incomplete clutch release and owner ignorance. Clutch prollum was due to very worn clevis pin attaching linkage to pedal and lack of proper adjustment. Car is now up around 160,000 miles and 2nd gear syncro is pretty much non-existant at this time. Double-declutch downshifting is now MANDATORY if you want second gear a-tall. This is my track car and I plan to live with it till there is a need to pull the tranny or do the clutch. (read - catastrophic failure)
