Re: Service Information
Hi Ian,
My name is Tom Nas, and I live in Holland. When I was looking for a
workshop manual for my 1988 80, I found, among the excellent Dutch language
Olyslager manuals, a couple of German Audi workshop manuals, as supplied to
dealers. I also remember seeing a few in English, but as they were not for
my car, I didn't pick them up. They are the best manuals I've ever seen,
covering every detail of the car. They're A4 size, loose leaf, in binders
and about 4in thick, being divided into several volumes for every model.
Using those manuals you should be able to take the car apart completely,
should you ever want to do that. I saw the manuals at a swapmeet for
classic car parts BTW, and most of the manuals were for cars from current
models to about 10 years old. If only they had one for my car...
Perhaps you can find a couple of those manuals at one of the great
swapmeets in the UK- Beaulieu for instance.
Good luck!
Tom.

Hi!
My name ia Ian Gregory, and I live in Nottingham, England. I am the proud
owner of a 1988 90 quattro 4 door with 142,000 miles under its belt. I
love this car, and will eventually replace it with a 90 S2 Coupe when funds
allow.
My question is as to the availability of workshop digrams, parts list etc.
in the UK?
