I had a problem this past winter with my parking brake. I got home and
parked, and put on the parking brake. That winter there was a few weeks
when it was well below zero with the windchill. Well, I woke up and got in
my car to go to school. I released the brake and went. The car drove but
slow. It also smelled like burnt rubber. I figured I better just get to
school, It was freezing and I only had about a mile to go. Well The parking
brak was like frozen to the tire. My dad and I had to release it with a
hammer. No major dammages. Just had to lift the parking brake up and down
a million times till it was free and working again.
