I've done maintenance on a few, along with Coupes. I currently own
an 88 90Q, 86 Coupe Gt 2.3, and an 91 Coupe Quattro.

My former rides included, 81 5kT, 85 4kq,87 4kq, 87 5kcstq and a 88 UrQ
while in Germany.

The remark about Arizona was in referance to the HEAT out there in the
desert. The missing shroud on the engine side keeps the
hot engine air from getting sucked into the condensor and radiator.
On hot (100+ degrees) days this may pose a problem in city traffic, where
good air flow might be limited.

I'm a mechanic by trade. I started working on aircraft for McDonnel
Douglas, then Lockeed. I found cars much easier to work on, and found
I can save mega bucks fixing me own cars. Especially those expensive
European ones (Audi) I got my fill from dealerships early on, and
haven't looked back since. I've worked on the side at several shops
here and abroad. All of which I throughly enjoy. I'm just glad to
share the knowledge, and learn from others.
