Once again, thanx for the advice.  This 4000 I bought a year ago with 134K
miles on it.  It still drives like new.  I know about the oil consumption.  I
just keep checking the level every two to three times I fillerup with super
unleaded.  I just add a little castrol if it seems low.

Little Q:  If I hear those cylinders clanking a little bit, I usually add a
little oil.  It always seems to take the clanking sound away, and I know that
this is a common problem.  That is the right thing to do, I take it???

One other Q.  Are there any other problems I ought to watch out for with
these workoholic autos?  From the varied responses I read re: the A4's and
A6's, I think I have a great car.  The thing "fits" me perfectly and I am
six-four.  Thank God for those tall Northern Europeans.  Of course the trunk
only will hold about two cadavers, and they better be Asian.......
