A4 Door panel?

One of the better glass installers in the area was completely stumped by my
door yesterday - he couldn't figure out how to get the panel off so he could
replace my window!  

I'd prefer not to take it to a dealer, since they'll charge me 4x what a
glass installer will.  He recommended someone who he thought would be more
experienced, but I am still nervous.  So...

Anyone have any tips on removing the front passenger door panel on a 96 A4?
 I have found three screws - one at each end on the top of the panel, and one
in the armrest.  However, it's not apparent what to do next!  Just prying it
off doesn't feel right.
