I think the WR has less in its Euro form.  It certainly has less torque and at 
a higher RPM than the MB.  The 20v (RR) has 220bhp.  Swedish and Swiss models 
have less - different engines.

The MB engine can be fairly simply tweaked to 280bhp.  It sometimes does it 
all by itself on cold mornings, which can be a bit alarming.  BR Motorsport and 
Historic Motorsport both offer 280bhp mods, but insist on a complete engine 
rebuild as well if over around 25,000 miles.
