Two quick points:
1. Be fairly liberal in your use of HD-C. Zymol actually
recommends that you use the entire 8-ounce bottle for
one car; I think it's more realistic to get two applications
from the 8-ounce bottle. I do sections about the same size
as Paul mentions... I just pour a stripe of the stuff across
the area, then start rubbing it in with a cotton applicator.
I use the same applicator for the whole car, but change
the terry cloth that I use to buff it off with at least
once.
2. If you use t-shirts, or other laundry scraps, be careful
to observe the following:
- Use only 100% cotton!! It's easy to grab an old t-shirt
that might be a polyester/cotton blend, and these
*will* scratch!
- When washing your car-cleaning rags, do *not* use fabric
softener; there's something in the softener that will
cause the rags to leave scratches/swirls.
