yes, i'm aware of that, but the porker's v8 used cast iron liners whereas
the audi uses the super light linerless, silicon etched block.  i wouldn't
make stuff up just to taunt you, unka bart...  :) it is documented in all
the old georg kacher columns in CAR.   somewhat obscure, but there you
have it.
