          Thanks for the news on the new A7, but I think that it is just Audi
trying to confuse us with another name change!  From what I've heard, Audi alre
ady has a version of the A6 in europe available with a V8.  It's called the
S6 plus!  The was available with a 5 spd auto or a 6 speed manual.  The tiptron
ic auto must be an addition for the '98 model year.

           I saw some pictures of the Audi S6 plus on a web page.  It looked ju
st like a U.S. version S6, but with different wheels and a quite sporty 90's lo
oking interior (nice sport seats).....reminded me of the RS2 interior.  Unfortu
nately, I don't remember where I saw it!  I will try to find it again, and I wi
ll be sure to post the address to y'all if I do!
