90 Coupe Quattro - Bad ECU

Same recommendations here, and for the Scottish WR we mentioned an hour or two  
back.  Assumptions - boost normal, hoses intact, idle set:

a) Reset the CO values _properly_.  A/C off, high beams on, cooling fan 
   idle, breathers detached and hanging _very_ lightly plugged, holes
   plugged firmly, engine oil 60C minimum. Reset idle if necessary.  
 
b) Leave breather hoses detached - lead them into a collecting bottle if 
   desired.  Leave holes plugged firmly.
 
c) Test drive, including repeat boost test.

d) Report back to mailing list.
