I also refinished my wooden shift knob, actually both, I have an extra one
also.  What a difference!  both were worn and dirty and now they look good as
new.  If anyone  else out there has a wooden shift knob in such condition, I
recommend refinishing, and if you don't want to do it, I'm sure a fellow Q
lister or myself woudl help you out!
