If you're doing net searches, you'll have to spell it correctly. It's
"Wiesbaden", named for the capital of Hessen.
Beware of differences between the USA and Europe. AM (medium wave) stations
are spaced 9kHz apart in Europe, vs. 10kHz in the USA. This affects AM search
systems - some radios scan in 1kHz increments and aren't affected - some step
from channel to channel. A very few have a switch or jumper to change this
behaviour.
My ur-quattro is now fitted with the radio that was originally specified - the
Philips 994. Unfortunately Philips was never considered a leading brand,
even in Germany where it was designed and manufactured. I think most European
urqs wound up with Blaupunkt - rubbish with a good name, like BMW.
