Cold Hesitation Problem
We just bought a 92 100S (50K miles, new brakes, new Michelins (oh
well), all records, always dealer maintained). With this purchase,
our conversion to an all Audi family is complete. (I hope you guys
are satisfied.) Seriously though, our experience in the past year
with our wagon and some of the things I've seen on this list in that
time made it any easy decision. It runs great except for a cold
hesitation problem. This only happens when the engine is cold, first
thing in the morning and for only a block or so. As I accelerate from
a stop, I lose almost all power. If I give it a bit more gas, it
recovers and accelerates normally. Any ideas or suggestions?
TIA,
Steve
