Texaco ripoff!
There's NO Audi content here, and hopefully, after everyone on this list
reads this, there won't EVER be any Audi content here!
Fiancee took her M*zd* 323 past the local Texaco jiffy lube here in Daytona,
and when she got done, I saw the bill - get this:
Fuel filter service: $39.95
Clean fuel injectors $59.95
This car has a sealed fuel filter which is serviced by replacement (which
they didn't), and Texaco's idea of a $59.95 fuel injector cleaning is to
pour a $1.49 bottle of mouse milk into the gas tank.
Now as I recall, I can buy this kind of fuel injector cleaner all day long
at discount auto or wally world, etc., and pour it in the tank myself, for
free. You don't think they were able to get away with this because she
doesn't know anything about cars? Would they actually DO that? This is 1996,
not 1956, you know.
Essentially, by being unethical, untrustworthy and predatory, Texaco turned
a $1.49 investment into a $100.00 invoice.
We, gentlemen (and ladies), are in the wrong business.
(Friends don't let friends use Texaco.)
Really pi**ed!

(And we ain't done with these clowns, not by a long shot, either! Stay tuned!)
