Re: Wheelspin



OK, I'll quit.  I've got a similar graph of slip vs. normalized tractive 
force in the Milliken book.  I guess I'm just stuck on the mental image 
of wheelspin as something that happens AFTER traction is lost (which 
Milliken seems to back up).  But the way you and eric are stating it - 
the difference in velocities - is right (not that you needed me to back 
you up for it to be, and not that eric hasn't been saying this all 
along).  Sorry to draw it out.
